Struggle for Labor Rights: Past, Present, and Future
Tuesday, September 29th @ 6:00 PM
This is a good choice for your first DSA event!
“The cause of labor is the hope of the world.”
Join us for a Socialist Night School on the struggle for labor rights in the United States. We’ll explore the historic struggles of American workers for labor rights, the backlash of the Red Scare and the Taft-Hartley Act, the modern landscape of organized labor, and what the future may hold for the US labor movement. This event is part of our Workers Deserve More strategic campaign, which fights to expand workplace protections like the Workplace Psychological Safety Act and end Right to Work laws in our state. Learn your history as a worker and join the struggle!
