Solidarity School: A May Day Strong Event

Saturday, April 25th @ 12:30 PM
This is a good choice for your first DSA event!

As a member of the May Day Strong coalition, we are excited to host our city’s first Solidarity School! This teach-in style event will bring together labor organizers and community activists to discuss how we can confront authoritarianism and inequality by uniting around collective action.

You’ll hear from organizers from Las Vegas to Minneapolis as we learn:

  • How billionaires have taken control of our economy and the strategies that they use against working people and marginalized communities
  • How we can unite people together to take disciplined, coordinated action to improve conditions for the working class
  • Historic and modern examples of effective collective action, from historic boycotts to creative labor actions
  • How local organizers won their union elections, and how we can continue to help them on their road to a first contract

Registration is free but limited to the first 75 participants. If you need to cancel your registration, please email lasvegasdsa@gmail.com.
