  • Request to sign on to this letter as a chapter
  • Award ceremony on Oct 25th, could bring this to GBM
7:55 Coalition Request – Red Desert Collective Flyer

    • We’ve been approached by RDC to be included on a resources flyer:
  • We are looking to put together information about resources available to the local community like mutual aid organizations. Notably, on demand resources or recurring events like food shares.
    We want to put durable information on there, i.e. things that will be going on for a while, so that when we distribute these, they will remain helpful for as long as possible. If you’re interested, let us know any particular recurring events and if you could provide a couple sentences what you do for the community.

  • Anthony moved to adopt agenda. Casey seconded. Passed unanimously
  • Anthony moved to approve last meeting’s minutes. Jaden seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Tiffany out October 2nd-10th. Anthony out September 30th-October 14th.
  • Members to invite to listwork training: Jeff, Keean, Reggie, and new stewards
  • Anthony moved to appoint Austin R. and Brittany F. as Mutual Aid Stewards. Casey seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
  • Anthony moved to appoint Gigi as LVWOC steward. Tiffany seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Jaden moved to appoint Jay as Cancel ICE steward. Casey seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Shaun moved to promote the AFSCME letter against the studio bill. Casey seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Tiffany moved to approve Red Desert Collective publish information about Sunday Solidarity in their resources list. Casey seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Motion to flyer at the upcoming No Kings protest, have Community Safety WG marshal, and leave when the organizers of the protest leave.
    • Passed unanimously.
  • Jaden motions to write a statement and social media post about the suspension of Judge Erika Ballou to be voted on at the next Steering Committee. Casey seconded. Passed unanimously.
  • Casey moved to wish Casey a happy birthday. Anthony seconded. Passed unanimously.
