We believe that abortion care is health care, and that health care is a human right. We know that attacks on abortion access are attacks on the working class. That’s why we continue to organize for the Abortion Access Fund-a-Thon and why DSA is taking part in the 2022 fundraiser to ensure our communities can access the abortion care and support they deserve. All donations received by LVDSA for the fund-a-thon will go to Nevada’s Wild West Access Fund.
Abortion funding is mutual aid. It is the redistribution of wealth to cover medical costs, but it is also a community stepping up to fill a basic need where the State has failed – and an invitation for that person to join our movement!
