Socialism 101: Who are we, what do we want?

We will be going over what socialism means and its basic juxtaposition with principals of capitalism, and do an overview of the pamphlet, ” Socialism Utopian and Scientific,” by Friedrich Engels, one of the founders of modern scientific socialism. This is a volunteer led event and I want to encourage as much discussion and questions from any event member, on the basis that it helps us unlearn undemocratic participation in education and in broader society.
