May General Body Meeting
General body meetings engage in business to further our chapter’s priorities and advance the interests of Las Vegas DSA.
This month we’ll be discussing our ambitious goals for Val’s campaign for AD10 and how we’ll be supporting Al-Maun’s Humanitarian Day event happening May 18th! We’ll also hold a training on building a mass movement, have tables to sign up for committees, working groups, and campaign shifts, and discuss future strategic campaigns as we start looking towards our next Convention.
This is a hybrid meeting. You can attend in person at Masjid As-Sabur (711 Morgan Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89106) or join the Zoom (link provided after registration).
Register
Resolutions can be introduced by any member at a general body meeting. All resolutions must be submitted to the Steering Committee by emailing lasvegasdsa@gmail.com at least two weeks before the meeting where the vote will be determined in order for the Steering Committee to publish or disseminate the resolution to the general body at least one week in advance of voting.
Only members are eligible to vote. Members who cannot attend may request an absentee ballot by emailing lasvegasdsa@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the event.
