1st Annual Local Convention

All LVDSA members who are members in good standing for 30 days before the convention may attend the local convention as a delegate. Only delegates may vote and introduce resolutions at the local convention.

To participate in the convention, please make sure your dues are up to date by June 10th 2021.

You may fill out a dues waiver if you are facing financial hardship.

We will elect a Steering Committee comprised of 11 voting members of LVDSA containing no more than six cis-men and containing at least three people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. Candidates will need to accept their nomination and must receive at least five nominations (excluding self-nominations) to be included on the ballot.

Priority campaigns are where the chapter membership intends to prioritize its time and chapter resources for the upcoming year in order to further the mission of LVDSA. We may choose to undertake up to three priorities at any given time.

The deadline to submit Priority Campaign Resolutions has passed. Here are the resolutions that have been submitted:
